The ski resort Lopušná dolina is sought-after by skiers and tourists from Slovakia and abroad for its advantageous location near the High Tatras only 2 km from Svit and 11 km from Poprad.
The most difficult ski run is located over the mountain lake Skalnaté pleso in the place with beautiful view. Cubicle lift from Tatranská Lomnica will carry you there in 13 minutes. The lift can takes you up into an elevation of 2196 metres from where a steep descent leads towards the valley station at an elevation of 1787 metres.
The ski resort Štrbské Pleso belongs among the most important resort not only in Slovakia but even in the Central Europe. In the ski area there are running tracks where the world competitions regularly take place, two ski jumps, four ski tows and two chairlifts with the total capacity of 3750 persons per hour. More than half of transit capacity comprises modern fourchair-lift Solisko Expres. Downhill tracks belong among the medium-heavy ones.
Those who are less challenging can use ski track "Štart-Tatranská Lomnica", ski resort "Jamy", etc.
You can cool off at sledding from Hrebienok to Starý Smokovec and also at snowrafting, snowtubing, bungee running, using snowmobiles, four-wheelers, skating rinks, skifox, skijöring, riding a horse or riding on a sledge
